DVD PACKAGING FOR LOG 22 For MOS Architects  2011 Michael Meredith of MOS Architects asked us to design packaging for a DVD that was going to be included with LOG 22. He told us he was interested in obsolete formats and technologies. We thought of the DVD itself as a format approaching obsolescence, and used an envelope for packaging, as one sometimes does when one doesn't have the proper case handy for a CD or DVD. We found some old unused IRS envelopes at a warehouse in downtown Detroit that processes old paper for recycling and used the security pattern that was on the inside to obscure the return address.
